9 Diagnostics

For fault diagnostics, the communication module is provided with the LEDs on the front.

Furthermore, you can carry out a comprehensive diagnostics of the entire POWERLINK network

using the »Engineer«.

9.1 LED status displays

The following status displays are distinguished:

• Module status displays

• Fieldbus status displays

( 52)

• Status displays at the RJ45 sockets (X211, X212)

 Note!

LED status displays for trouble-free operation:

• The LEDs MS

( 51) and BS ( 52) are permanently lit.

• The green LED at the RJ45 sockets X211 and X212 is permanently lit or blinking

( 53).
