16.1 Auxiliary means integrated in the DSD
Among other things, auxiliary calculators and tables of values are integrated in the DSD, providing
support with regard to the dimensioning of the application.
16.1.1 Auxiliary calculator
The DSD contains different auxiliary calculators that are to support you with the determination of
input values. They can be called via the Tools menu.
• The auxiliary calculators can also be called via buttons behind the respective input field of a pa-
rameter in the Input area (here encircled in red):
• A quantity determined by means of the auxiliary calculator is automatically accepted in the re-
spective input field of the parameter.
General auxiliary calculators
The general auxiliary calculators can be called via the Tools menu, or directly via the icons in the
Toolbar:
